As scheduled the CC Meeting with physical presence was held on 25 - 26 June 2022 at ICMARD Kolkata.
Secretary General, AIRRBEA delivered opening remarks stating that this meeting was awaited for a long time and urged the participants to cooperate fully to arrive at valuable decisions on the points of Agenda Note placed before the CC members.
Com C Rajeevan, Com Sagun Shukla and Com Prashanta Chowdhury presided over the meeting. Com Mahendra Singh could not reach Kolkata due to his sudden illness after starting his journey and had to return back for urgent treatment.
Last CC Meeting in physical mode was held on 10.12.2021 on the sidelines of our 14th National Conference at Guwahati held on 11-12 December 2021, CC Meeting on Virtual Mode last held on 20.02.2022.
The house observed 1 minute silence paying respect to the memory of the EDB Branch Manager Vijay Kumar, who was killed by terrorists during office hours, and also paid homage to other martyrs who sacrificed their life for the cause of the working class and also for the struggles conducted for elimination of exploitation and discrimination prevailing in the society.
It was highlighted in the house that in J&K Gramin Bank, management exposed the ugly face to unlawfully remove Com Satvinder Singh GS, J&KGBOA from service on 20.06.2022 with two days notice, against which entire workforce of the J&KGB as also our leaders across the country strongly came forward to condemn the
unauthorised and illegal action of the Chairman, and thus such illegal removal wast revoked within 3 days only. The house applauded Com Satvinder Singh and his team for their fight for the safety and security of their non-local colleagues posted in Kashmir Valley. This is a historic event in the life of AIRRBEA and J&KGB too.
GS NFRRBO welcomed the leaders and participants to this Kolkata Meeting with the hope that their stay and fooding will be comfortable, so that they can devote their time fully for the proper conduct of Two Days CC Meeting, being held after a long time with physical presence. The first session was held jointly for 3 wings NFRRBE, NFRRRBS & NFRRBO, separate session were held from post lunch time on 25.06.2022 continued upto about 07:00 PM, separate session continued on 2nd day till lunch time, and then it was again combined / joint and concluding session after lunch time on 26.06.2022 till 05:00 PM.
Very important aspect was that most of the speakers in NFRRBE and NFRRBO were from young generation leaders and they contributed a lot in various suggestions how to strengthen the organisation further while keeping in mind the contributions made by veteran leaders like Com Ashis Sen, Com Dilip Kumar Mukherjee, Com Ajit Kumar Ghosh, Com Pinaki Pratim Deb and many others across the country at the initial years while facing very difficult situation and so many constraints to organise, develop and to give a very concrete shape of the organisation to make it strong as it is today, and suggested various measures to strengthen further to face the challenges ahead. Matter of discipline, both organisational and financial, were deliberated at length and remedial suggestions were offered by the Secretary General in his summing up and concluding speech.
Com Ajit Ghosh, Ex-President, AIRRBEA even at this age of 80 years attended the meeting for both the days and wished the meeting a success with a brief speech about how the then leadership under able guidance of Com Ashis Sen and Com Dilip Kumar Mukherjee formed the unions in various RRBs, formulated the demands and launched agitation programme besides taking shelter of law to achieve the Equal Pay for Equal Job, creation of post of messengers, introduction of service rules and many other demands enjoyed by the workforce today.
Retirees and family pensioners issues as also issues/ demands of daily waged / casual workers were given much importance and accordingly decisions were taken to highlight the same with due weightage. Pending legal matters on NPS, deficiency in implementing Pension Parity as per court order, retrospective effect for arrear pension payment, coverage of all left out cases under RRB PR 2018, matter of Compassionate Appointment w.e.f 05.08.2014, organising Trade Union class at various centres, immediate formation of Joint Action Committee and Co-ordination Committee at the Bank level, 30% family pension without ceiling etc were discussed thoroughly, besides bank wise issues and problems for taking up with the concerned. authorities/ GOI NABARD. Possibility of exploring further legal action on daily waged / casual workers issue was also raised and discussed for appropriate action.
On the basis of detailed deliberations on issues raised by the CC members in separate sessions, Secretary General summed up the matters in the concluding session.
Following issues / demands were decided alongwith the agitation programme to be taken up by all concerned with due seriousness.

Compassionate Appointment w.e.f 05.08.2014 as per GOI Order
Computer Increment/ FPP for RRB staff as per Court Orders
